YAFCEAN

The Young AFCEAN (YAFCEAN) program is designed for members under the age of 40. It helps the younger AFCEAN community network with fellow military, civilians and contractors within the communications and electronics fields. 2012 Model Chapter!
We were honored again with the Model Chapter of the Year Award. This is a testament to the hard work of the board members and the outstanding membership within the KMC. Congratulations Chapter 158!

Membership Growth Awards
Congratulations to YAFCEANs MSgt Weingeroff, Mr. Maggio, and TSgt Hausner! As the membership committee, they helped the chapter earn the AFCEA International's Albert J. Myer Awards for total individual member-ship growth and individual member recruiting.

Military Leadership Award
Congratulations to SrA Douglas Clark, 86 CS, for being selected by AFCEA DC as a 2012 AFCEA Military Leadership Award recipient!

LUNCH & LEARN
Thanks to all who participated in our 1 CMXS tour on 25 May coordinated by 2d Lt Furniel at the Dragon's Lair. The next Lunch and Learn event is in July with Col Brooks, USAFE/A6A. Date TBD.

HACKINT
Our own YAFCEAN Lt Rob Lee designed and sponsored our first HACKINT 18-19 May with raving reviews. Attendees learned the fundamentals of hacking such as remotely identifying systems, enumerating a computer network, and remotely exploiting computers. The next event will occur during our summer tech expo so stay tuned for more info.
